Registration Plates

A standard UK registration plate contains a DVLA memory tag and age identifier, followed by random letters. In the UK there are rules and regulations which govern how vehicle registration plates are designed, manufactured and displayed. For example, the characters on a registration plate need to be a certain height and size, and the plate itself must be made from a reflective material with non-reflective lettering, it cannot have a background pattern and must be marked to show who supplied the plate.
